Most married couples will describe their wedding day as the most beautiful days of their lives and a day they will never forget. But, what if something happened and you could not remember your wedding day? Unfortunately, that’s what happened for Justice when she got into a terrible accident after her special day.
Justice and Jeremy met in Sunday School when they were only 10 years old and they got married in the Smoky Mountains on August 1st, 2014 after years of dating.
A short 19 days after their wedding, Justice was in an awful car accident while driving to visit her aunt. She was yielding to oncoming traffic, when someone slammed into the back of her car going 50 miles per hour.
Following the accident, Justice had lose five full weeks of her memory and had to admit to Justin that she had no recollection of their wedding and did not even know she was married to him.
Jeremy was extremely upset and said, “I was heartbroken, and instantly said I would do it all again for her.” And on August 1st, 2015 – their first anniversary – Jeremy and Justice got married for the second time. The couple raised over $9,000 in a GoFundMe campaign to pay for their second wedding.
Although Justice is still suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, short-term memory loss and problems with her speech, we’re so happy that she had the chance to experience her special day with Justin all over again and we wish them all the best.
