1Relax your Muscles
Suffering from cramps? Do you have regular muscle pain? Mustard can work to keep this pain under control. If large muscles are affected, such as the ones in your back or legs, try taking a warm mustard bath. Mix two tablespoons of mustard with two tablespoons of Epsom bath salt and add the mixture to your bathwater.
The mustard enhances the effectiveness of the salt, and works to relieve painful tension. To alleviate smaller areas, you can also create a soothing ointment. Simply mix one part mustard seeds with two parts flour. Now add a bit of water until the mixture becomes creamy.
Rub the ointment on the affected area, wrap with a bandage and leave it on for 20-30 minutes. Now sit back and relax while the the pain subsides.
2Revive your Skin
Mustard makes a great face mask! It contains Vitamin E, antioxidants, as well as other anti-inflammatory properties that invigorate the skin. Spread a thin layer of mustard on your face, avoiding the eye area, and leave it for 15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. If done regularly, your skin will be glowing!
