Taylor Morris was a member of the Navy’s EOD, Explosive Ordinance Disposal. The EOD are “warriors who are properly trained, equipped and integrated to attack, defeat and exploit unexploded ordnance, improvised explosive devices and weapons of mass destruction.”
In 2012, Taylor led a team of Army Special forces to a classified location when he suddenly stepped on an IED. Tragically, he lost both his arms and his legs. Although he was bleeding out, Taylor told the medics not to get him because he feared there were other IEDs in the area.
After the area was cleared the medics made a rescue mission to save his life! Miraculously, Taylor was the fifth person to survive a quad limb amputation.
