Earlier this month at a property in Ellis County, Texas, authorities showed up to find animals trapped in a dirty backyard in desperate need of rescue. On the property, they found 15 puppies, six dogs and three caged pigeons who were all in pretty bad shape.
The animals were dirty, malnourished and covered in fleas, so the SPCA’s Cruelty Investigation Unit were sent out to evaluate the situation.
Each one of the pups were gently removed from their dirty enclosure, the other dogs they found roaming around the property were also rounded up and brought to the group’s facilities.
The pigeons were also found and removed from their cage, where they were being held without any food or clean water.
After being rescued and brought to the facility, the animals showed signs of hope and recovery, thanks to receiving the much needed love and care they deserve.
AWWWW, just look at those happy puppies!
So thankful to the people of the ASPCA for rescuing these animals. If you would like to make a donation, you can do so here. Also, if you’re in the area and would like to make an adoption inquiry, click here.
