7Avoid refined sugar: Processed foods and an unhealthy diet are not only bad for the waistline, they also make your skin greasy. Oil buildup can cause pores or hair follicles to get blocked, which is an ideal environment for cysts to form. If you’re prone to cysts or other skin problems, limiting processed foods and refined sugar in your diet should help.
