A teenage fan of Florence And The Machine got the best surprise when her favorite band showed up to play for her while she was sick in hospice care.

15-year-old Karinya was supposed to attend the Florence And The Machine concert on Friday night in Austin, Texas, but she was unable to attend after her doctor said she was too ill to travel even a very short distance to see the show. Karinya has been living with a malignant paraganglioma of the thoracic spine for four years now and the good people at Hospice Austin helped to bring her favorite artist to her bedside.

Karina and a group of her friends were there to sing along with Florence and her guitar player who busted out “Shake It Out” and “Dog Days Are Over.” Karinya’s mom, Catherine Chen, posted a video of the performance on Instagram, writing, “Florence of Florence + The Machine is such a beautiful and kind soul!! She brought so much joy to all of us today. What a blessing!!

Another video of the heartwarming performance was shared by Hospice Austin and it’s been viewed over 800,000 times. What an amazing moment for Karina to share with her favorite singer and an incredible experience for the whole family going through a tough time.
