A Cop Rescued A Kitten In The Rain And It’s Now His Crime-Fighting Partner!

A 28-year-old cop in South Carolina, Cody Garrett, ended up rescuing a cute little kitten who was found stranded in the rain underneath a dumpster by another officer while he was out responding to a call.

When the other officers brought the kitten back to the station, they didn’t know what they were going to do with it, so Garrett said he would take it home.

Garrett already has another cat home named “Toothless,” who was nursing at the time and he thought his cat might take care of the kitten.

After putting the kitten in a shoebox for the ride, he took the kitten home. Shortly after, he named her “Squirt” after she let out a yellow poop on the floor.

And just as Garrett thought, Toothless wound up taking in the kitten as if she was one of her kittens. Awwww!

Just look at this dynamic duo! How cute…
