Dahlia Ayoub, a certified professional dog trainer, had heard about a stray dog living around a local car wash in Etobicoke, Ontario. The Azores Cattle Dog had been left to fend for himself for 7 months surviving on trash and food that people left out for him.
It took a lot of time to get the dog to trust the rescuers. First they laid down blankets with their scent and tried feeding him. Still skittish, they eventually laid out a trap to capture the scared dog – They soon found out that the dog was blind!
Once he was safe, Dahlia named the dog “Bo”. The gentle giant got a second chance after one of the vet techs who looked after him, fell in love with him and ended up adopting him!
